The run-every-play era is over: the Aug 6-7 patch nerfed pancakes (WR-vs-DB
pancakes especially) and killed the stunt-proof heavy-set meta, so the run
game is now good, not dominant — still strong in ranked and dynasty, no
longer how tournaments get won. The best surviving runs are the pistol
zone/dive family and the direct snaps; the under-center power sets are
legacies. The shared skill on everything is unchanged: read the numbers
pre-snap and flip the play to the light side.
