Custom adjustments ("macros") are pre-saved bundles of line-of-scrimmage adjustments you fire with two button presses in-game: LB/L1 → the face button of the saved macro (second page via right stick if you have 9-10). On defense they're the answer to never having enough time to make every adjustment before the snap — and they're immune to stadium pulse confusion.
Title Update 4.5 (Sep 22): macro contains now register. EA fixed "an issue where contains called through custom adjustments were not always respected" — so a QB contain baked into a macro was silently being dropped some of the time before today. The recipes below get more reliable; contains are still weak as a pressure tool after TU 3.5, which this does not change.
